Rest In Pieces!

Happy Halloween Everyone!

It's the month of spooks, ghosts, goblins and super cute Halloween decorations.  This is a photo of the graveyard scene that I made with my son when he was home from school one day.  He was very excited to get to craft but then tried to negotiate his way out of working with the glue and glitter!  It was very sticky and messy.  Next to the graveyard scene are Halloween teacher gifts I made for each of my kids teachers.  The tins came from the $1 section at Target (gotta make a stop every time I go!) and the pumpkin eyes and mouth were cut from black vinyl using my Cricut and the Hello Kitty greetings cartridges.  I included a bag of a special Halloween M&M color mixture to give them a pick me up.  I did have to buy the chenille stems but they came in a variety pack that included red and white (which will make great candy canes during Christmas).  I used my Stampin' Up round tag punch with coordinating Happy Halloween greeting.  Super Cute!

My Heart is all Twitterpatted!

I think that the Twitterpated Level Two paper pack from Close To My Heart is the cutest paper!  Its a very natural, organic, outdoorsy theme that fits almost any theme photos.  The Twitterpated workshops are on Friday, September 25 and Monday, September 29.  The level three kit comes with the full paper pack, one full pack of chipboard button embellishments, and one exclusive B-size stamp set (with a hedge hog!).  He's the cutest little guy around!  I'm placing the order for this workshop on Wednesday, September 16.  RSVP by then to be included.

I have a blog!

So I'm taking the plunge and starting a blog.  I'll keep updates on my scrapbooking workshops, Close To My Heart campaign specials, and new projects that I'm working on.  I hope that you'll come here often for inspiration and leave positive feedback.  I love communication!

Be sure to bookmark my blog and online website for easy access.  I'm off to create!
