I love my hot glue gun!

This year my mother-in-law asked for a wreath for Christmas.  She didn't mind that she would get it closer to the end of the month (especially since she didn't ask for it until the beginning of the month).  So I got to work!  Itsn't nice when you don't have to guess what would make a person happy. 

She had decorated a white flocked Christmas tree with red satin balls when my husband was younger and kept the ornaments all these years!  I used the red satin ornaments from her and the other supplies came from my second home (Michaels!).  It measures 32 inches in diameter and since everything was on sale for 50% off she gets a lot of bang for my buck.

I attached everything with my hot glue gun.  The ribbon is attached to the wire frame on the back and the pine cones and ornaments are either attached to a leaf base or bunched and glued to another item.

Here is a full view photo of the wreath.  Isn't she lovely?  I hope my mother-in-law will enjoy this.

Sorry there was no information for November.  That month had every moment of my time accounted for! But I'm here to spread the good news about December!

December has three great things happening!  First, there is the joy and spirit of Christmas that I always cherish.  I'm glad there is no school for most of the month of December becuase I am forced to change my pace.  This makes me appreciate my family that much more!

New October Workshop Information!

The days are just flyin' by!  Because it's been so hot I forget that it's supposed to be fall.  I literally looked at the calendar and said, "oh my gosh" I'm need to get on the ball for October workshop info!

October brings us a new Close To My Heart workshop!  Yeah!  These lovely fall papers are going to be great not only for my kiddos picking pumpkins but also for those blustery park and kite flying days!  I love to capture then having everyday fun!

The workshop dates are October 15th, 16th, and 22nd at 4pm.  If you'd like to join me just let me know by the 8th.  Of course, you can always do the workshop on your own if those dates don't work for you.
